What is hysan® Care Balm and what is it used for? hysan® 

Care Balm is particularly well suited for caring for irritated skin around the outer mouth and nose. Irritation around the outer nose or on the lips often occurs in connection with a cold or in people with allergies. Constantly blowing your nose or sneezing, the sensitive skin around the nose or lips becomes reddened and irritated. Applying the care balm protects the skin, soothingly moisturises and nourishes it. In this way, skin regeneration is promoted and irritation is soothed. The balm has a soft, pleasant texture and spreads easily over the irritated areas of skin.

Frequent blowing of the nose, particularly when suffering from a cold or hay fever, puts a strain on the skin around the nose and mouth. It doesn’t take long for the skin to become sore, painful and reddened. In such cases, the skin lacks moisture and care.

Directions for use

• Unscrew the protective cap. Apply a small amount of ointment by applying gentle pressure to the tube. Carefully apply this either directly from the tip of the tube or, after dispensing onto a clean fingertip, to the area around the nostrils and the upper lip. 
• Please dispense the nasal ointment by gently squeezing the tube without kinking or rolling it up. 
• We recommend hysan® Care Spray as an ideal complement for moisturising and caring for the nasal mucosa.
• Instructions for use: For hygiene reasons and to prevent the possible spread of infection, each tube of hysan® Care Balm should be used by one person only. For this reason, it is also advisable to wipe the tip of the tube after use and to close the tube carefully.

Ingredients

Composition: hysan® Care Balm is a sterile, preservative-free ointment containing 138 µg/g retinol palmitate (equivalent to 250 IU/g vitamin A), heavy paraffin, light paraffin, lanolin and white petrolatum.
