When it gets dark, the evening primrose opens its yellow flowers and exudes a sweet fragrance. This plant was first introduced to Europe in the 17th century. The effect of the oil cold-pressed from the seeds is similar to that of borage. However, the proportion of linoleic acid is more than twice as high. This is converted in the body into the tissue hormone prostaglandin, which promotes hormonal and physical balance. Complementary medicine uses evening primrose oil to improve the appearance of the skin and for hormonal imbalances.

  • Take 1 capsule 2 times a day with plenty of water.
  • Advice: Do not use if you suffer from epilepsy or are taking anticoagulants or neuroleptics.
