gigazyme® is an enzymatic cleaner for manual and semi-automatic cleaning of endoscopes and for manual cleaning of surgical instruments. The optimum combination of high-quality enzymes (protease = breaks down proteins, lipase = dissolves fatty soiling, amylase = removes polysaccharides) and an innovative surfactant system ensures excellent cleaning of all types of thermostable and thermolabile instruments. gigazyme® is also suitable for use in ultrasonic baths.

Always read the label and product information before use and keep the container tightly closed. Protect from frost, heat and sunlight. Store in the original container at room temperature.

How to use
gigazyme® is a concentrate and is diluted with cold water to the desired application concentration. Place instruments and endoscopes in the working solution so that the surface is completely wetted and the air escapes from the lumen. After cleaning, rinse instruments thoroughly with water. Please follow the instrument manufacturer's reprocessing recommendations. Do not mix with cleaning agents or disinfectants. Service life: It is recommended to renew the working solution at least every working day and when visibly soiled. Application concentration: For normal soiling: 0.5 - 1 % For heavy soiling: up to 10 % 1 litre of a 1 % solution corresponds to 990 ml water and 10 ml gigazyme®: Using water that is too warm can cause the blood to coagulate when cleaning blood-stained instruments and endoscopes. This makes cleaning more difficult. For optimum results, the temperature of the cleaning solution should therefore be below 35 °C. In order to remain within the optimum temperature range, the solution becomes cloudy from approx. 32 °C. This can be corrected by adding cold water.
