femidoc® LIPOGRAN® tablets are a medical device for the supportive treatment of excess weight. They are fat-binding tablets designed to support a weight-loss diet for those who are overweight or to aid weight management as part of a low-fat diet.

Indications & Properties

femidoc® LIPOGRAN® contains prickly pear powder, a fibre complex derived from plants. This fibre complex binds dietary fats in the stomach to form a stable fat-fibre complex, thereby removing them from the digestive process. The fat-fibre complex is then excreted naturally. Furthermore, its swelling effect may induce a slight sense of fullness.

In conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet and appropriate physical activity, femidoc® LIPOGRAN® can therefore be used as a supportive aid for weight control and the reduction of total body fat. femidoc® LIPOGRAN® provides beneficial support for a weight-loss diet. The product femidoc® LIPOGRAN® is a medical device registered in accordance with the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC.


Dosage form
Tablets

Directions for use
  • Before or during main meals.
  • For weight control: 2 tablets with each main meal
  • For weight loss: 3 tablets with each main meal.
  • Max. 9 tablets per day.
  • General precautions: Do not use if underweight (BMI < 18.5). Do not use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding. Do not take if you have inflammatory gastrointestinal conditions.

  • Active ingredient: Prickly pear powder.
  • Excipients: Cellulose and microcrystalline cellulose, sorbitol, magnesium stearate, sodium starch glycolate, silicon dioxide.
