Directions for use
- Women going through the menopause: 1 tablet once daily.
- Method of administration: For oral use. Swallow the tablet whole with a little liquid.
- Duration of use: As the effect is not immediate, it is recommended that the medicine be taken for a period of at least 6 weeks. The first therapeutic effects may become apparent after 2 weeks. Femidoc Cimicifuga can be used for a prolonged period, for at least 6 weeks. Use for longer than 6 months should only take place after consulting your doctor. If you do not feel any better, or even feel worse, after 6 weeks, consult your doctor.
- Use in children, adolescents and men: There is no relevant benefit from Femidoc Cimicifuga in children, adolescents and men within the indicated area of use.
Ingredients
- The active ingredient is: black cohosh rhizome (Cimicifuga racemosa, (L.) Nutt., rhizoma) – dry extract. One tablet contains 13 mg of dry extract from black cohosh rhizome (Cimicifuga racemosa, (L.) Nutt., rhizoma), drug-to-extract ratio 4.5–8.5:1, extraction solvent: 60% ethanol (v/v).
- The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, povidone, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide.
