colomed® Stress is used for the dietary treatment of inflammatory intestinal mucous membranes caused, among other things, by prolonged stress and psychological strain.

Stress and intestinal bacteria

Prolonged stress, mental pressure or emotional strain can have negative effects on the entire organism and trigger both physical and psychological complaints. Chronic stress can massively unbalance the natural intestinal microbiota and lead to inflammatory processes in the intestinal mucosa.

Properties

colomed® Stress Sachets contain 9 active and reproducible probiotic bacterial strains with a total bacterial count of 8.4 billion. The active bacterial strains support the rapid normalisation of the disturbed intestinal microbiota in a natural way. The prebiotic fibre Nutriose®, together with the enzyme amylase, favours the colonisation of the probiotic bacterial cultures supplied and stimulates their growth and multiplication.

The most important prerequisite for the effectiveness of a probiotic is that a sufficiently high number of bacteria survive the passage through the stomach and reach the intestine in an active form. Normally, the sensitive probiotic bacteria are quickly inactivatedin the acidic environment of the stomach.

The special dual coating of the bacterial strains in colomed® Stress sachets guarantees optimum stability during production, transport and storage and protects the sensitive bacteria from being destroyed by stomach acid. Directions

Stir 1 sachet into 1/8 litre of water or juice once a day and drink.

Tips:

colomed® Stress Sachets can be used in particularly stressful situations (e.g. before exams) for a short time or permanently.
If antibiotics are prescribed at the same time, colomed® should be taken at least 2 hours apart.
