Many barfers assume that the nutritional requirements of their dogs are optimally covered with a food ration modelled on the prey animal. Nowadays, however, the ingredients used mostly come from industrial livestock farming, which are often fed very one-sidedly and with a view to weight and growth rather than an optimal supply of nutrients. In the past, when farm animals were kept on pastures rich in species and herbs and were fed feed that was mostly home-grown, their diet was much more varied and, above all, rich in secondary plant substances. Today, for the reasons mentioned above, the latter are almost completely absent from farm animal feed.

Our dogs and cats need these secondary plant substances, which they originally found in the bodies of their prey, in order to remain healthy and productive in the long term.

Fit-BARF Safe-Complete was developed for this purpose. Its broad spectrum of micronutrient-rich fruit and vegetables, rounded off with herbs, algae and other high-quality natural ingredients, compensates for the lack of secondary plant substances and other natural micronutrients in feed of animal origin and thus enables a species-appropriate, healthy diet. The calcium content of Fit-BARF Safe-Complete is very moderate, making it particularly suitable as a supplement when feeding bones and also as a safeguard when feeding large amounts of leftovers.

• Composition: Algae lime, grass, herb and legume plants, linseed, apple pomace, parsnip root, aronia pomace, blackcurrant pomace, eggshell powder, peat, sunflower cake, malt sprouts, carrot pomace, brewer's yeast, seaweed meal, grape seed meal, brewer's yeast cell walls (MOS), celery root, moringa.
• Analytical constituents: Crude ash 24.7%. Crude protein 11.0%, crude fat 6.4%, crude fibre 13.2%, ash insoluble in hydrochloric acid 2.6%, calcium 8.46%, phosphorus 0.29%, sodium 0.14%.
