Intended use

bite away® two is a thermotherapeutic medical device for the topical symptomatic treatment of itching and pain caused by insect bites and stings, e.g. from mosquitoes, wasps, bees, hornets or horseflies. If applied immediately after the sting/bite, the symptoms can usually be prevented completely, so the affected area of the body should be treated as soon as possible. Even if applied later, accompanying symptoms such as itching and pain can be effectively alleviated and subside more quickly.

Mode of action

The application of concentrated heat (localised thermotherapy) is a physical principle of action based on the brief, concentrated application of heat to a narrowly defined area of skin. Even a localised application of heat can be sufficient to trigger an itch and pain-relieving reaction in the body. bite away® two works without chemicals - solely through concentrated heat. bite away® two is therefore also suitable for pregnant women and children. bite away® two is also suitable for allergy sufferers due to the ceramic contact surface.

bite away® can relieve itching after mosquito bites after just one minute: The application only takes a few seconds and can be used anytime & anywhere.

Apply: Place the ceramic contact surface on the bite or sting site.
Press the button: Select 3 or 5 seconds treatment time & press the corresponding button. A sound signals the start of treatment.
Heat impulse: Hold the sting healer on the skin until the second signal tone sounds.
Breathe a sigh of relief: One application is usually enough to provide lasting relief from itching.
