anatis Krill Oil +Vit D3+Vit K2 Capsules is a food supplement consisting of premium krill oil, astaxanthin, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2. Contains 207.5 mg omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) per capsule.

Krill oil is obtained from Antarctic krill, a miniature shrimp. The krill lives in huge shoals, is the most successful animal population worldwide, reproduces rapidly and is not a predatory fish, as it lives only on plant microalgae. Therefore, no environmental toxins accumulate in its fat. Its catch in Antarctic waters is strictly limited, with only a tenth of the permitted amount being harvested and only a tenth of this is used for the production of food supplements

Krill oil naturally contains minimal amounts of vitamin D3. In this premium product, additional vitamin D3 from sheep's wool fat (lanolin) is added so that 1000 I.U. are available per capsule.

Vitamin D has a function in cell division and contributes to

normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus,
to a normal calcium level in the blood,
to the maintenance of normal bones,
to the maintenance of normal muscle function,
to the maintenance of normal teeth,
normal function of the immune system.

Omega-3 fatty acids in the daily dose of 250 mg EPA+DHA contribute to

to the maintenance of normal brain function,
to the maintenance of normal vision,
to normal heart function

Natural, seasonal fluctuations in the valuable ingredients - for example when krill are caught after hibernation - are balanced out to consistently high levels in this standardised product

Astaxanthin

Krill feed on microalgae, the actual source of the red pigment astaxanthin. It is naturally bound in krill oil and is also added in natural form from Haematococcus pluvialis algae in Premium Krill Oil + Vitamin D, so that each capsule contains 3 mg of astaxanthin (other brands often only contain micrograms of astaxanthin). The high astaxanthin content is visually recognisable by the black colouring (the capsule shell itself is colourless). Astaxanthin is a strong antioxidant and reduces oxidation processes - this is favourable for product quality, among other things

Vitamin K2 contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bones.
