alfavet RodiCare appetite drops are a supplementary feed for rabbits and guinea pigs with calamus and ginger to support poorly eating animals.

RodiCare® Appetit supplements the herb-poor diet with calamus, gentian and wormwood as well as tasty flavourings (ginger tincture and black pepper extract) and thus stimulates the appetite.

Loss of appetite in rabbits, guinea pigs and small rodents should be taken very seriously. Due to their fast metabolism, they can easily become energy-deficient, which can have a negative effect on liver health. In addition, even a few hours without food intake can lead to digestive disorders in guinea pigs and rabbits with potentially serious consequences. Animals that are not eating should therefore always be presented to a vet so that the cause of the loss of appetite can be determined.

Directions for use

Feeding recommendation: Administer via the feed or directly into the mouth.

Depending on body weight 1 - 3 times daily:

Mouse, hamster: 0.05 ml Rat: 0.1 ml.
Guinea pigs, dwarf rabbits: 0.2 - 0.3 ml.
Rabbit: 0.4 - 0.6 ml.

Recommended feeding duration: 2 - 5 days.

Advice: Fresh water and good quality hay should always be offered freely. Shake before use and rinse syringe after use.

Composition: Dextrose 15 %, [calamus root, wormwood herb, gentian root], macerated 1.5 % each, calamus root 0.1 %, wormwood herb 0.1 %, gentian root 0.05 %.
Analytical constituents: Crude protein 0 %, crude fibre 1 %, crude fat 1.1 %, crude ash 0.4 %, sodium 0.1 %, moisture 86.1 %.
Additives per 1000 ml: Flavourings: Ginger tincture 15 ml, black pepper extract 0.4 ml.
