Product information "alfavet RodiCare Vita C tablets for guinea pigs and small rodents"
The alfavet RodiCare Vita C tablets are a supplementary feed for guinea pigs and small rodents with vitamin C, without added sugar.
Properties
- Tasty tablets with parsley or carrot flavour
- approx. 40 mg vitamin C per tablet
- Easy to portion
- No added sugar
RodiCare® Vita C is used to supplement the diet with vitamin C. Unlike other mammals, guinea pigs are not able to synthesise vitamin C themselves. A vitamin C deficiency can occur with an unbalanced diet. However, infections, digestive disorders, exercise and stress can also lead to an increased requirement in guinea pigs and small rodents. Excess vitamin C is excreted via the kidneys.
