alfavet RodiCare Derma Drops are a feed supplement for dwarf rabbits, guinea pigs and small rodents, designed to support healthy skin, fur and claws.
Features
- Contains omega-3 fatty acids from algae oil

RodiCare® Derma contains a wide range of nutrients that are particularly important for the development of skin, fur and claws. It consists of oils with a high content of essential fatty acids and α- and γ-tocopherols. Furthermore, RodiCare® Derma is enriched with phytosterols, which occur naturally in small quantities in plants, as well as with zinc, selenium and biotin.
- Special plant oils serve as a source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which play a key role in maintaining normal skin function.
- Algae oil is rich in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
- The plant oils also provide natural α- and γ-tocopherols, which are required for the neutralisation of free radicals.
- Burdock and field horsetail are rich in silicic acid.
- Poplar bark contains salicin, which is converted into salicylic acid in the body.
- Phytosterols are incorporated into the upper layers of the skin, thereby improving the skin’s barrier function.
- Zinc, selenium and biotin are required for the development of skin and hair.

Directions for use
Recommended dosage: To be administered via the feed.
Depending on body weight, give:
- Mice, dwarf hamsters: 1 pump.
- Hamsters, degus: 2 pumps.
- Rats, chinchillas: 3 pumps.
- Guinea pigs: 3–5 pumps.
- Dwarf rabbits: 5–8 pumps.
One pump stroke corresponds to approx. 0.2 ml. Where possible, the dose should be divided between two or more meals.
Recommended duration of feeding: 2 months. If necessary, the course can be extended.
Notes: Due to the high content of additives, do not exceed the recommended feeding amount.
Ingredients
- Composition: linseed oil 28%, soya oil 21.5%, [burdock, field horsetail, poplar bark] suspended in sesame oil, 5.7% each, sunflower oil 5.3%, borage oil 4.5%, algae oil (Schizochytrium sp.) 2.5%, phytosterols 1.5%, maize germ oil 1%, field horsetail powder 0.05%.
- Analytical constituents: crude protein 0.2%, crude fibre 0.9%, crude fat 85.5%, crude ash 0.3%, omega-3 fatty acids 17.6%.
- Additives per 1000 ml: Nutritional additives: Vitamin E 10,000 mg, Vitamin C 20,000 mg, Vitamin D3 20,000 IU, selenium as sodium selenite 1 mg, zinc as zinc sulphate heptahydrate 200 mg, biotin 50 mg, flavourings: rosemary oil 600 mg.
