Areas of application
Underweight:
- Underweight is usually the result of insufficient food intake. Chronically ill and elderly animals, which eat poorly due to a lack of appetite, as well as animals with dental, mouth and throat problems, are particularly frequently affected.
- ReConvales® Tonicum is highly suitable for the nutritional rehabilitation of underweight animals. It stimulates the appetite, hydrates the animals and provides high-quality proteins, vitamins and trace elements.
- Furthermore, thanks to its liquid form, these essential nutrients can be absorbed even in cases of painful dental and gum conditions.
Convalescence:
- Following surgery, infectious diseases and gastrointestinal disorders, animals often suffer from a loss of appetite and impaired digestive function.
- ReConvales® Tonicum allows valuable nutrients to be administered to the recovering patient in liquid form without placing unnecessary strain on the digestive process. The palatable tonic encourages animals to feed independently.

Usage
For dogs weighing:
- Up to 15 kg: 1/2 to 1 bottle per day
- Over 15 kg: 1 bottle per day, either as a single dose or spread throughout the day.
Recommended duration of use: Until full recovery.
ReConvales® Tonicum can be administered for 1–6 days, as a monthly course of treatment or on a long-term basis. Seek advice from a vet before using the product or before extending the duration of use. Do not use ReConvales® Tonicum as the sole source of nutrition, as it contains too little energy for this purpose. Suitable on its own or as a supplement to wet or dry food. When feeding, the product should be at room temperature or slightly warmed.
Further information: Free from colourings and preservatives. Free from dairy products, cereals and soya. Animal protein sources: beef, chicken.
Notes: Store opened bottles in a cool place and use within 10 days. Shake before use!

- Additives per 1,000 ml: Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 1,800 IU, Vitamin D3 950 IU, taurine 1,100 mg, iron as iron(II) amino acid chelate hydrate 14 mg, manganese as amino acid manganese chelate hydrate 2 mg, zinc as amino acid zinc chelate hydrate 7 mg.
