alfavet Pregnostat is a supplementary feed for dogs and cats with Pulsatilla and Asa foetida extract. To support the regeneration of mucous membranes in the event of disturbed heat and heat cycle.
Pregnostat contains biologically valuable plant substances that support the regeneration of the uterus and mammary glands in the event of reproductive disorders such as false pregnancy.
- Pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris): Pasque flower has a decongestant effect on the uterus and vagina and regulates excessive oestrogen production. Cowslips were already used as a remedy in ancient times. Hippocrates used it to treat hysterical anxiety and to promote menstruation. Pulsatilla is used in homeopathy for a range of symptoms.
- Stink asafetida resin (asafetida, devil's dung, asa foetida): The dried gum resin of asafetida has been an integral part of the pharmacopoeia in Europe, the Middle East, Persia and India for centuries. In Ayurvedic medicine, asafetida is used to treat jaundice, cramps, stomach disorders and mental illnesses. It suppresses lactation and has a decongestant effect on the udder and vagina.
Pregnostat gently rebalances the hormonal balance of dogs and cats.

Directions for use
To be administered with food or directly into the mouth.
For dogs with a weight:
- Up to 10 kg 2 x daily 1 ml
- From > 10 - 20 kg 2 x daily 2 ml
- Over 20 kg 2 x daily 3 ml
For cats with a weight:
- Up to 5 kg 2 x daily 0.5 ml
- Over 5 kg 2 x daily 1 ml
Recommended feeding duration: Up to 8 weeks, but at least 16 - 20 days. The dosage can be increased if necessary.
Notes: The presence of pyometra must be ruled out. Avoid touching and rubbing the mammary glands. Shake before use! Please rinse syringe after use.

- Composition: Sugar beet syrup, (Pulsatilla, lemon balm) macerated 2 % each.
- Analytical constituents: Crude protein 0.5 %, crude fibre 0 %, crude fat 0 %, crude ash 0.5 %, moisture 87.7 %.
- Additives per 1000 ml: Flavourings: Asa foetida extract 20 ml.
