alfavet FeliGum Struvit chew drops are a dietary supplement for cats and small dogs to dissolve struvite stones with DL-methionine.
Properties

Active ingredients
- DL-methionine is a sulphur-containing amino acid that acidifies the urine and can therefore dissolve struvite stones in the bladder.
- Glucosaminoglucans (GAGs) supplement the defective protective layer of the bladder wall caused by GAG deficiency.
- Cranberry promotes the flushing out of bacteria from the urinary tract.
- FeliGum® Struvit also contains nettle extract.

Directions for use
Feeding recommendation:
- Cats and small dogs up to 10 kg: 1 - 2 chew drops twice a day
- over 10 kg: 2 x 2 - 4 chew drops per day
Recommended feeding duration: 5 - 12 weeks.
Advice: It is recommended to seek the advice of a vet before feeding. FeliGum® Struvit should preferably be administered together with or directly after feeding. To dissolve struvite stones, the pH value of the urine should be between 6.2 and 6.4. To prevent struvite stones, the dose can be halved. Do not overdose! Do not use in animals with severe liver or kidney disease. Do not use in animals with metabolic acidosis.
Ingredients
- Composition: Meat and animal by-products, glycerine, sorbitol, pregelatinised rice starch, glucose syrup, duck fat, glucosamine 2 %, cranberry 1 %, sodium chloride.
- Analytical constituents: Crude fat 11.8 %, crude fibre 0.7 %, crude protein 31 %, crude ash 9.1 %, moisture 16.5 %, calcium 1.2 %, phosphorus 1.5 %, magnesium 0.1 %, potassium 0.8 %, chlorides 0.2 %, sulphur 2.4 %, taurine 0.08 %, sodium 1.1 %, methionine 10 %.
- Additives per kg: Nutritional additives: DL-methionine (technically pure) 100,000 mg, flavouring: nettle extract 10 ml, antioxidant.
- Essential nutritional-physiological characteristics: Urinary acidifying properties, low magnesium content, reduced protein content, but high quality protein.
