The alfavet FeliGum Oxal chew drops are a dietary supplement for cats and small dogs to reduce the formation of oxalate stones with potassium citrate.
Properties
- Very tasty, soft chew drops
- Approx. 300 mg potassium citrate per chew
- Vitamin B6 prevents increased oxalate stone formation
FeliGum® Oxal has urinary alkalising properties and thus reduces the recurrence of oxalate stones. At the same time, the urine volume is increased. FeliGum® Oxal supplements the diet with substances that must be ingested in sufficient quantities for optimum protection of the urinary tract mucous membranes.
- Potassium citrate alkalises the urine. The pH value of the urine should not be below 6.2.
- The glucosaminoglucans (GAGs) glucosamine and chondroitin supplement the protective layer of the bladder wall, which can be defective in the case of GAG deficiency and irritation by crystals.
- Vitamin B6 prevents increased oxalate formation caused by vitamin B6 deficiency.
- FeliGum® Oxal also contains nettle extract and field horsetail tincture.

Directions for use
Feeding recommendation:
- Up to 5 kg body weight 2 x daily ½ - 1 chew drops
- > 5 to 10 kg body weight 2 x daily 2 - 4 chew drops
Recommended feeding duration: Up to 6 months.
Advice: It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use. Offer water for free intake. FeliGum® Oxal should preferably be administered together with or directly after a feed.

- Composition: Meat and animal by-products, potassium citrate 15 %, sorbitol, glycerine, pregelatinised rice starch, glucosamine 3.2 %, duck fat, chondroitin sulphate 2.3 %, sodium chloride.
- Analytical constituents: Crude fat 11.8 %, crude fibre 0 %, crude protein 24.9 %, crude ash 20.1 %, moisture 13 %, phosphorus 0.3 %, calcium 0.3 %, sodium 0.2 %, magnesium 0 %, potassium 1.2 %, chlorides 1.7 %, sulphur 0.5 %, vitamin D 0 %, hydroxyproline 0.9 %, urinary alkalising substances: potassium citrate 15 %.
- Additives per kg: Nutritional additive: Vitamin B6 / pyridoxine hydrochloride 5,000 mg.
- Flavourings: nettle extract 21,000 mg, field horsetail tincture 13,000 mg, antioxidant.
