The alfavet EktoDerm® Fogger Spray is an insecticide for use on dogs and cats. It acts quickly and reliably against fleas, ticks and other pests at all stages of development. Immediate effect at the touch of a button.
- EktoDerm® Fogger contains the insecticide permethrin, which quickly and reliably kills fleas and flea larvae. It is also effective against other pests such as ticks and other vermin at all stages of development.
- Piperonyl butoxide enhances the insecticidal properties by inhibiting the breakdown of the active ingredients by the flea organism, thereby prolonging the duration of action and strengthening the antiparasitic effect.
- The growth inhibitor pyriproxyfen also prevents the development of flea eggs and larvae.
- It also contains geraniol and Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and mature Tanacetum cinerarii folium flowers

Directions for use
- Place the fogger centrally and upright on a raised surface covered with paper. Press down the spray button until it clicks into place. Leave the room immediately for 2 hours and close all doors and windows. After application, ventilate the room for at least one hour. Do not repeat the treatment for at least 6 months. The contents of one fogger are sufficient for rooms up to 30m².
- Instructions for use: Treat as many rooms as possible to which dogs and cats have access. Switch off smoke alarms, as these may be triggered . Remove food and pet food, as well as feeding bowls. Cover aquariums, switch off aquarium aerators and keep pet birds and other pets away. Remove all sources of ignition. Switch off room ventilation systems.
- Warnings: Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurised container: may burst if heated. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. If medical advice is required, have the packaging or label to hand. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. No smoking. Do not spray towards an open flame or other source of ignition. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not breathe in the aerosol.
- IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 50 °C. Dispose of contents/container at a hazardous waste collection point. Only place completely empty cans in the recycling bin. Contains permethrin, Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and ripe Tanacetum cinerariifolium flowers, extracted using supercritical carbon dioxide. May cause allergic reactions. Contains biocidal products: piperonyl butoxide, permethrin, pyriproxyfen, Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and ripe Tanacetum cinerariifolium flowers, obtained using supercritical carbon dioxide. Geraniol.
- First-aid measures: Move the affected person to fresh air; do not leave the affected person unattended. If swallowed: rinse the mouth and drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
