alfavet Dia Tab PRO chewable tablets are a dietary supplement for dogs and cats to stabilise physiological digestion.
Properties

- Suitable for prolonged administration to build up the intestinal flora in the long term
It has been proven that healthy intestinal flora is not only responsible for intestinal health itself, but also for a well-functioning immune system. If the intestinal flora is out of balance, pathogenic germs can multiply and digestive disorders such as diarrhoea or flatulence can occur. The intestinal flora can also be negatively affected by antibiotics.
Dia Tab® PRO restores the balance of the intestinal flora, protects the intestinal mucosa, stabilises digestion and can thus support the immune system. The chewable tablets can also be used to rebuild the intestinal flora after antibiotics.
- Enterococcus faecium is a probiotic lactic acid-producing bacterium which, as a living microorganism, helps to stabilise the intestinal flora.
- Prebiotic fructo-oligosaccharides andcarob flour serve as nutrients for the growth of the desired microorganisms in the intestine and thus contribute to the maintenance of healthy intestinal flora.
- Bentonite is a clay mineral with a high swelling capacity and high water binding capacity.

Directions for use
Feeding recommendation: At risk of, during and after digestive disorders.
For one weight:
- Up to 5 kg 2 x daily ½ tablet
- From > 5 - 15 kg 2 x daily 1 tablet
- From > 15 - 25 kg 2 x daily 2 tablets
- From > 25 - 40 kg 2 x 3 tablets daily
- Over 40 kg 2 x daily 4 tablets
Recommended feeding duration: Up to 4 weeks. It is safe to extend the feeding period. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before feeding or extending the feeding period. Administration can be repeated.
Note: The simultaneous oral administration of macrolides should be avoided. Dia Tab® PRO may only be fed up to 5.2 % of the daily ration due to the increased bentonite content.
Ingredients
- Composition: Yeast products, dicalcium pyrophosphate, processed animal protein (pork liver), carob, ground 3.4 %, fructo-oligosaccharides 1 %, sodium chloride, magnesium stearate, potassium chloride, magnesium sulphate, anhydrous.
- Analytical constituents: crude protein 15.5 %, crude fibre 0.4 %, crude fat 1.2 %, crude ash 51.5 %.
- Additives per kg: Technological additive: bentonite 380,000 mg, intestinal flora stabiliser: Enterococcus faecium.
- Essential nutritional characteristics: Feed additive of the functional group "intestinal flora stabilisers".
