alfavet DermaSterol® is a dietary supplement for dogs to support skin function in dermatosis and excessive hair loss with phytosterols.
DermaSterol® contains oils with a high proportion of phytosterols, α- and γ-tocopherols and essential fatty acids.
- Special fish and vegetable oils serve as a source of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, which contribute significantly to the maintenance of normal skin function.
- The vegetable oils also provide natural 𝛂- and 𝛄-tocopherols, which are needed to break down free radicals.
- Phytosterols are stored in the upper layers of the skin and thus improve the skin's barrier properties.
- Biotin and zinc are required for the development of skin, hair and claws.

Application
To be administered with food. For dogs weighing (1 ml = 1 pump):
- Up to 10 kg 1 ml / day.
- From > 10 - 20 kg 2 ml / day.
- Over 20 kg 3 ml / day.
Recommended feeding duration: Up to 2 months. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before using the feed or before extending its period of use. This dietary supplement may only be fed to dogs and cats up to 5 % of the daily ration due to the higher selenium content compared to complete feed.
Notes: DermaSterol® contains no allergenic ingredients from milk and meat products.
Ingredients
- Composition: Fish oil 32 %, rapeseed oil 32 %, soya oil 20.6 %, sunflower oil 3.9 %, safflower oil 3 %, hemp oil 2 %, phytosterols 1.7 %, maize germ oil 1 %.
- Analytical constituents: Crude protein 0.1 %, crude fibre 0 %, crude fat 93.2 %, crude ash 0 %, essential fatty acids 40 %.
- Additives per 1000 ml: Nutritional additives: Vitamin E 10,000 mg, selenium as sodium selenite 10 mg, zinc as zinc sulphate, heptahydrate 200 mg, biotin 16 mg.
- Essential nutritional characteristics: High content of essential fatty acids.
