alfavet DermaSterol® EXEM Horse is a dietary supplement for horses to support the regeneration of hooves and skin. With omega-3 fatty acids and hemp oil.
DermaSterol® EXEM Horse contains a variety of nutrients that are particularly important for the development of skin, hair and hooves. It consists of oils with a high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids and α- and γ-tocopherols. In addition, DermaSterol ® EXEM Horse is enriched with phytosterols, which occur naturally in small quantities in plants, as well as zinc and biotin.
- Special plant oils serve as a source of omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, which contribute significantly to the maintenance of normal skin function. They also provide natural alpha- and gamma-tocopherols, which are needed to break down free radicals.
- Algae oil has a high content of DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid that is not found in other vegetable oils.
- Burdock and field horsetail are rich in silicic acid.
- Poplar bark contains salicin, which is converted into salicylic acid in the body.
- Phytosterols are stored in the upper layers of the skin and thus improve the skin's barrier properties.
- Zinc and biotin are required for the development of skin, hair and hooves.

Directions for use
- Administer 10 ml 2 x daily via the feed or directly into the mouth.
- Recommended feeding duration: Up to 8 weeks. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before using the feed or before extending its duration of use.
- This dietary supplement may only be fed to horses up to 5 % of the daily ration due to the higher content of trace elements (selenium and zinc) compared to complete feeds.
- Notes: Shake well before use!

- Composition: Linseed oil 28 %, rapeseed oil 23 %, soya oil 7 %, vegetable by-products [poplar bark, burdock, field horsetail] suspended in sesame oil 5.7 % each, borage oil 4.5 %, sunflower oil 3.3 %, algae oil (Schizochytrium sp.) 2.5 %, hemp oil 2 %, phytosterols 1.5 %, maize germ oil 1 %.
