Zeel® tablets for animals are a homeopathic medicinal speciality. The use of this homeopathic medicinal speciality in the named indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. Zeel® tablets for animals are registered for the animal species horse, cattle, pig, sheep, goat, dog and cat.

The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• Chronic degenerative joint diseases, e.g. osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints, spavin and hoof roll disease in horses, spondylosis/spondylarthrosis (osteoarthritis of the spine).

Clinically proven therapy is indicated for severe forms of these diseases.

Directions for use

The dose per day depends on the animal species and body weight:

• Horse, cattle (over 500 kg): 10 tablets 2-3 times a day
• Horse, cattle (up to 500 kg): 6-8 tablets 2-3 times a day
• Pigs: 4 tablets 2-3 times a day
• Sheep, goat: 3-4 tablets 2-3 times a day
• Large dog (over 25 kg): 3 tablets 2-3 times a day
• Medium-sized dog (15-25 kg): 2 tablets 2-3 times a day
• Small dog (up to 15 kg)
• Cat: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day
• Method of administration: For oral administration.
• Duration of use: The frequency and duration of use depend primarily on the principles of homeopathy and the clinical picture at hand. For acute complaints, initially administer the indicated single dose every half to full hour over a period of up to 2 hours, then continue with the standard dosage. For chronic diseases, the single dose should be administered at intervals of 1 to 4 days. If the condition continues to worsen or if there is no improvement after 7 days, a veterinarian should be consulted.

• Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
