Zechsal magnesium bisglycinate powder is a dietary supplement. Magnesium bisglycinate is an organic form of magnesium that is bound to an amino acid.

This form of magnesium chelated with amino acids can also reach the brain, where it provides relaxation. Minerals often use the same uptake transporters and can therefore inhibit each other's absorption. However, as the body does not regard magnesium bisglycinate as a mineral but as an amino acid, such 'competition' is avoided and bioavailability is therefore particularly high. Regardless of absorption, magnesium bisglycinate causes fewer side effects (such as diarrhoea) than other oral forms.

Directions
Dissolve 1 level teaspoon of magnesium bisglycinate in water, juice or milk 1 or 2 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. One level teaspoon contains 2 grams, which corresponds to 200 mg magnesium.
