The Wellion SENSOR Transmitter serves as a data transmitter of the measured values of the Wellion SENSOR to the Wellion SENSOR Aidex App or the Wellion SENSOR PDAs.
The Wellion SENSOR Transmitter has a guaranteed service life of 4 years. This means that it does not have to be replaced every 10 days like the Wellion SENSOR. However, it is important that the transmitter is disconnected when the sensor is placed in the Wellion Aidex SENSOR app or in the Wellion SENSOR PDA.
If the distance between the Wellion SENSOR and the device receiving the data is too great, the data is saved and added as soon as the Wellion SENSOR is within range again.

The Wellion SENSOR is a system for continuous glucose measurement in tissue (CGM).
The system consists of 3 parts, all of which are necessary to be able to read your glucose values in real time.
- Wellion SENSOR Base: It contains the sensor thread that measures the tissue glucose value
- Wellion SENSOR Transmitter: It transmits the measured values of the sensor thread. The Wellion SENSOR Transmitter is part of the Wellion SENSOR CGM system and can only be used in combination with a Wellion SENSOR Base.
- Wellion AiDEX SENSOR App: The app receives the measured values from the transmitter and is used to read out the data. The app is available for Android and iOS.
