The Wellion GALILEO audio enables people with visual impairment or blindness to monitor their blood glucose levels easily, reliably and accurately. The Wellion GALILEO audio blood glucose meter does not need to be coded, so all measurement results are safe and accurate. The measurement results are read out directly after the measurement using the voice function and can also be read from the large display.

The Wellion GALILEO test strip is easy to handle thanks to its optimised size. The tactile differences between the top and bottom as well as the front and back make inserting the test strip into the blood glucose meter simple and intuitive.

The Wellion GALILEO audio can display 7, 14 and 30 day averages for a more accurate assessment of diabetes control.

How to use

• Insert the Wellion GALILEO blood glucose test strip into the test strip slot and the Wellion GALILEO audio meter switches on automatically.
• Using a fresh lancet and the Wellion lancing device, you obtain a small drop of blood which you allow to be drawn into the reaction zone by the test strip tip. The current blood glucose value is measured from this drop.
• After the countdown, the meter announces the measured value aloud and the Wellion GALILEO Audio blood glucose meter also shows the result in large digits on the display.
• Notes: The voice function can also be switched off. The Wellion GALILEO Audio can therefore also be used as a silent meter.
