Vliwazell® highly absorbent wound dressing (non-sterile) is a versatile wound dressing for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. This multi-layered dressing with an integrated distribution layer is characterised by its high absorbency and skin-friendly materials.
A fully enclosed, multi-layered dressing with high absorbency, for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Thanks to their particularly soft non-woven cover, Vliwazell absorbent dressings are gentle on the skin. Wound exudate is rapidly channelled into the absorbent core made of cellulose flakes, which has an absorption capacity many times greater than that of a gauze dressing. A special blue non-woven layer on the reverse side reduces the penetration of wound exudate, thereby protecting clothing and laundry.
