Vliwazell® sterile absorbent dressings are a medical device designed for the rapid and reliable absorption of wound exudate. They are ideal for the management of acute and chronic wounds.
A fully sealed, multi-layered dressing with high absorbency, designed for the management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. Thanks to their particularly soft non-woven outer layer, Vliwazell absorbent dressings are gentle on the skin. Wound exudate is rapidly drawn into the absorbent core made of cellulose flakes, which has an absorption capacity many times greater than that of a gauze dressing. A special blue non-woven layer on the reverse side reduces the penetration of wound exudate, thereby protecting clothing and laundry.
