The Vliwaktiv® Ag sterile activated carbon absorbent dressing with silver provides reliable odour adsorption and, thanks to the silver it contains, has an antibacterial effect on wounds at risk of infection.
Vliwaktiv® Ag combines the odour-binding properties of activated charcoal with the antimicrobial effect of silver. Available as an absorbent dressing and a tamponade, the product is suitable for the management of critically colonised wounds, infected and/or malodorous wounds, and wounds with an increased risk of infection.
Indications
- For critically colonised or infected and/or malodorous wounds
- For wounds with an increased risk of infection
- Absorbent dressing: for heavily exuding superficial wounds
