Vitaworld Copper 2 mg Tablets are a dietary supplement containing the essential trace element copper.

Copper is an essential trace element for the human body, as it is a component of numerous enzymes and is responsible for many metabolic processes. However, it is one of the lesser-known trace elements.

Among other things, copper plays a role in iron transport in the body and supports the immune system. Copper supports the connective tissue and is responsible for the pigmentation of skin and hair.

Foods rich in copper are offal such as liver or kidneys, fish and crustaceans, wholemeal products, nuts and pulses. Long-term intake of higher amounts of zinc can impair copper intake, as copper and zinc compete for absorption into the body. Therefore, care should be taken to ensure sufficient copper intake when taking zinc over the long term.

We use 2 mg copper gluconate for our copper, which is characterised by its high bioavailability.
