Vitaworld Citrus Bioflavonoid Capsules are a dietary supplement with 100 % natural hesperidin from bitter orange and 465 mg pure hesperidin per capsule. Hesperidin is a natural bioflavonoid.
Citrus bioflavonoid is a collective term for various types of flavonoids, which are mainly found in the peel of citrus fruits. Flavonoids contribute to the colour as well as the smell and taste of the fruit.
Citrus bioflavonoids include hesperidin, quercetin, rutin and naringin. These are powerful radical scavengers. They act synergistically with vitamin C and can protect it from oxidation. However, our body cannot produce bioflavonoids itself, but is dependent on the intake through food or supplements. The hesperidin contained in our product is 100 % natural. It is extracted from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium L.).
