Astaxanthin capsules in detail

Astaxanthin is a naturally formed pigment that is produced particularly frequently in the cells of algae. It is considered one of the most powerful antioxidants.

The blood rain algae "Haematococcus pluvialis" is today the most important raw material for the manufacture of astaxanthin products and is dried and ground in a complicated process.

The high-dose natural astaxanthin with 4 mg active ingredient per vegan capsule is produced without the anti-caking agent magnesium stearate in order to maintain good bioavailability. Instead, harmless microcrystalline cellulose (naturally without nanoparticles) is used.

Astaxanthin is fat-soluble, so we recommend taking it with a little oil to improve absorption. The use of soft capsules, which are usually made with animal gelatine and glycerine, is deliberately avoided.
