Virbac Indorex® Defence Spray is an environmental spray for flea control against flea larvae and flea eggs indoors up to 128 m2. Control of flea infestations around pets with a long-term effect of up to 24 weeks.
Indorex® Defence Spray contains the adulticide permethrin and the insect growth inhibitor pyriproxifen. This means that all stages of flea development are covered and effectively combated for up to 24 weeks.

Application form
- Not intended for professional use. For indoor use in places where pets spend most of their time, including baskets (not for cats), carpets and cushions. Apply the product as soon as the first fleas are discovered.
- 400 ml of product is sufficient to treat 128 m². The effect lasts up to 24 weeks. Maximum two applications per year.
- Clean the area before using the product. Spray from a distance of 30 cm onto the areas favoured by fleas until the surface is slightly moistened. Spray for 2 seconds per square metre. Leave the room immediately after application and ensure adequate ventilation. People and pets must not enter the room for at least one hour after application.
- The killing effect starts immediately after contact with the product. The infestation should be monitored to determine if the treatment is sufficient. If the problem persists, contact a professional pest controller.
- Damp spots caused by spraying will disappear after a short time without leaving any traces. In the case of sensitive materials, it is advisable to carry out a spray test on a concealed area.
- Risk minimisation measures: Avoid contact with eyes. Do not treat large areas. Do not use directly on animals. When applying the product, no one other than the user may be present in the room. Aquariums must be covered and pets must be removed from the room. Do not use on damp washable surfaces and materials. Do not use directly on or near food, feed or drink or on surfaces or utensils likely to come into direct contact with food, feed or drink. Keep cats away from freshly treated surfaces. Due to their particular sensitivity to permethrin, the product may cause severe adverse reactions in cats.
- Hazard warnings: Contains permethrin. May cause allergic reactions. Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurised container: May burst if heated. Causes severe eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
- Precautionary statements: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of the reach of children. Read all instructions carefully and follow them. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not puncture or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Avoid inhalation of aerosol. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Dispose of contents / partially emptied and empty container to hazardous waste.
- IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical advice. Pyrethroids can cause paraesthesia (burning or tingling of the skin without irritation). If symptoms persist: Seek medical advice.
- Other information: For resistance management, combine treatment with non-chemical measures where possible. Complete elimination of insect pests should be sought in infested areas. This product contains permethrin, which is dangerous to bees. Use biocides with care. Always read the label and product information before use.
- Warning: Contains permethrin. May cause allergic reactions. Do not inhale spray mist! Asthmatics are particularly at risk! Sensitive persons (e.g. allergy sufferers or with multiple chemical hypersensitivity) should not use the product.

Active ingredients: Permethrin 0.6 % (6g/kg) (CAS 52645-53-1), Pyriproxiyfen 0.1 % (1g/kg) (CAS 95737-68-1). Contains ethanol.
