Directions for use

• Wet the coat with lukewarm water, apply Equimyl® shampoo and work it in with a sponge or damp glove.
• Work into a lather using gentle circular movements and leave to work for about 5 minutes.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Use approximately 50 ml of Equimyl® Shampoo for one application on an adult horse.
• Use as recommended by your vet; daily use is possible.
• Statutory hazard and warning statements in accordance with the GPSR Regulation (EU) 988/2023: Note: As animal care products are not covered by separate regulations for other regulated consumer products (such as human and veterinary medicines, foodstuffs, animal feed, live plants and animals, animal by-products and derived products, plant protection products), the GPSR Regulation requires that, from 13 December 2024, any warnings on pet care products offered in online shops or on other distance-selling platforms must be clearly stated on these products to protect consumers.As pet care products do not fall under any of the above-mentioned categories, they are therefore automatically subject to the Chemicals Act, which stipulates that, for all ingredients contained therein—regardless of their concentration—the warning statements (hazard statements) must be stated verbatim and in full for all ingredients contained, regardless of their concentration, even if these substances are exempt from this rigorous labelling requirement in other consumer products regulated by different legislation (such as cosmetics, medicines and veterinary medicines). Consequently, pet care products – which often contain even lower levels of these substances – feature these warning statements, some of which are almost alarming, whereas they may be omitted from cosmetics for human use containing the same levels of such substances. In this specific case, the warning label(s) for this product reads as follows: Danger. Causes serious eye damage. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if possible. Continue rinsing. Call a poison centre or doctor immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
