Varicex is a bandage impregnated with zinc paste. It is ready to use and saves time when applying semi-rigid long-term dressings for thrombophlebitis, oedema treatment, chronic venous insufficiency, leg ulcers in the healing phase, and for aftercare following fractures.
Varicex zinc paste bandages are thin — whether wrapped in circular turns with an elastic bandage or in half-figure-of-eight turns — and are available in various designs.

Ingredients
- Varicex® S: Carrier material: 80% viscose, 20% polyamide – coated with zinc paste.
- Zinc paste: zinc oxide, gelatine, calcium chloride, glycerol, water, preservatives (propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, methyl 4- hydroxybenzoate) and fragrances.
