Valerian® Night's rest, 40 ST

Valerian "Sanova" Nachtruhe Dragees are a herbal medicine with calming and tension-relieving properties to promote sleep readiness. Valerian "Sanova" Night's Rest Coated Tablets are used for problems falling asleep and sleeping through the night. The valerian root extract is highly effective in reducing the time it takes to fall asleep and improving the quality of sleep.

For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age

• 1-2 coated tablets half an hour to an hour before going to bed.
• If required, take an additional 1-2 dragees earlier in the evening.
• Maximum daily dose: 4 coated tablets.

Method of administration

Oral use.

The coated tablets should be taken whole with sufficient non-alcoholic liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Duration of use

Valerian "Sanova" Night's Rest Coated Tablets are not suitable for the acute treatment of sleep disorders, as the maximum effect only occurs after 2-4 weeks of continuous use. If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: valerian root extract

1 coated tablet contains 300 mg dry extract of valerian root (Valerianae radix, DEV = 3-6 : 1,extractant: ethanol 70% V/V).

The other ingredients are:spray-dried glucose syrup, silicon dioxide, cellulose, lactose monohydrate, sodium starch glycolate, talc, stearic acid, sucrose, gum arabic, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer (Eudragit E 12.5), methyl cellulose, calcium carbonate, povidone, glycerol 85%, iron oxides/hydroxides brown and red (E 172), montan glycol wax.
