VAXOL® ear spray, 10 ml

VAXOL® Ear Spray is a medical device designed to relieve irritation in the external auditory canal and to remove earwax naturally. It reduces itching and protects against dry skin.

Who is VAXOL® suitable for?

• For children aged 1 year and over: Due to the specific structure of the external auditory canal, the absence of chewing movements or the immaturity of the skin in infants, it may be advisable to support the self-cleaning process of the external auditory canal to prevent the formation of earwax blockages.
• For young and older adults: The use of cotton buds for ear cleaning is not recommended. These can compress the earwax and push it even deeper into the ear canal, right up to the eardrum.
• For hearing aid users: Wearing in-ear headphones and hearing aids can lead to the formation of earwax plugs that press against the eardrum. • For water sports enthusiasts: When swimming, bathing or diving: Water and moisture in the ear canal provide a favourable environment for bacteria and fungi and can lead to inflammation (known as ‘swimming pool otitis’). Olive oil can protect the skin from drying out.

Directions for use

1. Gently pull the ear upwards and backwards with one hand.
2. Press the spray nozzle down fully into the ear canal 1–2 times.
3. Then gently massage your ear around the opening (the tragus).

Notes: Warm in your hand and shake well before use. Use 1–2 times a week to prevent the build-up of earwax. Use VAXOL® after removing earphones, earbuds or hearing aids that are worn inside the ear (so-called ‘in-ear’ devices) (ideally overnight).
