Urogelus® is a specially formulated wash gel containing tea tree oil, seaweed extract and chamomile extract. These carefully selected ingredients provide gentle cleansing and care for all skin types, particularly for the intimate area. With a pH value of 5, Urogelus® supports the natural balance of the skin and the intimate area.
Indications
Urogelus® has been developed as a cleansing gel to support skin care for both men and women. The product is suitable for the intimate area and is gentle on mucous membranes.
- After urological procedures: Following urological procedures, the skin in the genital area is often sensitive. Gentle cleansing with Urogelus® can help to keep the skin clean, minimise potential irritation and support the skin’s healing process.
- Urogenital infections: In the case of urogenital infections, it is important to keep the affected areas clean in order to reduce the risk of further infections. Urogelus® gently cleanses the skin without disrupting its natural pH balance, thereby helping to maintain urogenital health. Also suitable for effectively combating odours in the intimate area.
- Balanitis: Urogelus® can help to gently cleanse the affected areas in cases of balanitis and soothe any irritation .
- Genital and anal eczema: Thanks to its mild formulation, Urogelus® is also suitable for use in the sensitive areas around the anus and genitals. Chamomile extract can help to soothe irritation. Tea tree oil can help to protect the genital and anal regions in cases of acute fissures or injuries and reduces the risk of secondary infections thanks to its antimicrobial properties.
- Stoma ( artificial opening): It is crucial to keep the skin around the stoma healthy . Gentle cleansing with Urogelus® helps to soothe skin irritation around the stoma.
- Indwelling catheters: Regular intimate hygiene is particularly important here to prevent infections.
- Blemished skin: The gentle formula of Urogelus® can help to improve the appearance of blemished skin and reduce skin irritation.
- Acne: Urogelus® can help remove excess oil and dirt from the skin, which may help prevent acne breakouts. The anti-inflammatory properties of tea tree oil and chamomile extract soothe the discomfort associated with existing acne.
Properties of the ingredients
- 1% tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil effectively combats bacteria and prevents skin infections. It naturally soothes inflammation and alleviates redness and itching.
- Milk thistle extract ( Silybum marianum) contains omega-6 fatty acids and promotes wound healing following surgery.
- Algae extract contains essential nutrients such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and thus protects against harmful environmental influences.
- Seaweed soothes skin irritation and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier.
- Chamomile extract has anti-inflammatory, skin-soothing and calming effects on skin irritations. It can thus promote the healing of rashes and support the skin’s well-being.
- A pH value of 5, achieved through lactic acid, maintains the skin’s natural acid balance and that of the intimate area.

Directions for use
- Apply a small amount of Urogelus® to the area of skin to be cleansed.
- Gently massage the gel in to create a rich lather.
- Leave the lather to work for a short while before rinsing it off thoroughly with water. For a more intense soothing effect, leave the product on for 2–3 minutes.
Notes: If skin problems or irritation persist, please consult a doctor or pharmacist. Avoid
contact with the eyes and rinse them thoroughly with water if the product accidentally gets into the
eyes. For external use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not
use on children under 3 years of age.
