Condom urinal for the management of urinary incontinence in men

Directions for use

1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap. 
2. Trim pubic hair.
3. Wear underwear. To ensure the condom urinal adheres properly, the skin must be dry and free from grease. 
4. Measure the girth and length of the penis with a ruler and select the correct diameter of Urimed® Vision.
5. Pull the foreskin back and position the condom urinal. For a retracted (shortened) penis, use the Urimed® Vision Short variant. 
6. Hold the condom urinal in one hand whilst unrolling it with the other. CAUTION! The tip of the penis must not extend into the funnel (risk of pressure marks). 
7. Press the condom urinal firmly into place. CAUTION! Ensure that there are no hairs on the adhesive surface, that the adhesive surface adheres evenly and that there are no creases, otherwise there is a risk of leaks. 

General instructions: Do not use on irritated or broken skin, or in the event of allergic reactions. Condom urinals should be changed daily as part of personal hygiene, as otherwise skin conditions (e.g. fungal infections) may occur – use for longer than 24 hours may increase the risk of complications. Circular leg pouch fixations may impair the blood supply to the leg. Fixation plasters (Urimed® Velcro) can also be applied to stabilise the position and relieve tension. 

Contraindications: peripheral circulatory disorders, diabetic foot syndrome, leg ulcers.
