Ultrastop pro med. is a high-quality, sterile anti-fogging agent for medical optics. Surface-active substances in a special combination form an absolutely clear and transparent layer on the treated surfaces. This extremely thin film prevents the formation of droplets and thus condensed water vapour from fogging the surface.

Ultrastop pro med. is particularly suitable for use in the field of strictly aseptic endoscopy, which must be performed with sterile equipment in body cavities (e.g. laparoscopies, thoracoscopies, arthroscopies, etc.), for all types of medical examination mirrors and optics (e.g. laryngeal and epipharyngeal mirrors, stroboscopes, dental mirrors, colonoscopes, etc.).

Ultrastop pro med. solution monodose guarantees simple and safe application in the form of sterile single doses. The sterile Sugi® Endopad contained in the application kit enables problem-free, hygienically perfect application of the anti-fog solution even in an aseptic environment.

Application form

• Apply ULTRASTOP pro med. solution either directly or using a sterile gauze moistened with ULTRASTOP pro med. solution to the disinfected or sterilised and dry surface and spread evenly. Allow to act briefly and, after evaporation, gently polish with sterile, non-fibrous gauze if necessary.
• ULTRASTOP pro med. solution does not smear when used correctly, but if applied too thickly the surface may appear somewhat cloudy. In this case, we recommend cleaning the surface with distilled water or sterile gauze and re-treatment as described above.
