The duration of the measurement also varies depending on where the temperature is taken. The minimum measurement time in the anus is 30 seconds. When measuring in the mouth, the duration increases to 60 seconds. Under the arms you need a little more patience: the minimum measurement time here is 3 minutes.

Application
- In the anus (rectally): The measuring tip is carefully inserted 1-2 cm into the anus. Minimum measuring time: 30 seconds.
- In the mouth (oral/sublingual): Do not eat any hot or cold food or drink for at least 10 minutes before the measurement. Insert the measuring tip into one of the two heat pockets under the tongue to the left or right of the root of the tongue. Close your mouth and breathe calmly through your nose. Minimum measurement time: 60 seconds.
- Under the arm (axillary): The skin must be absolutely dry. Place the measuring tip under the arm so that it is in good contact with the skin. The thermometer is at right angles to the body. Place the arm over the chest so that the measuring tip is in close contact. Minimum measurement time: 3 minutes.
