Tussamag® cough syrup sugar-free, 150 ML

Tussamag® cough syrup sugar-free is a traditional herbal medicine for relieving phlegm in coughs associated with a cold. The herbal active ingredient thyme dissolves thick mucus and relieves cough irritation.

The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product in the stated area of applicationis based exclusively on many years of use.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years: up to 4 times daily 15-40 ml
• Children from 4 to 12 years: 5-10 ml 3-5 times a day

An appropriately labelled measuring cup is enclosed. As there is insufficient data available, use in children under 4 years of age is notrecommended.

Route of administration: Take undiluted.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is thyme fluid extract.
• 100 g (corresponding to 85.47 ml) liquid contains 9.02 g thyme herb fluid extract (DEV 1:2-2.5), extractant: ammonia solution 10 % (m/m), glycerol 85 %, ethanol 90 % (V/V), water(1:20:70:109).
• The other ingredients are:potassium sorbate, citric acid monohydrate, ammonium sulphite sugar couleur E 150d, glycerol 85 %,sorbitol solution70 % (non-crystallising), purified water.
• Information for diabetics: 25 ml liquid contains 7.55 g sorbitol (equivalent to 1.89 g fructose) corresponding to approx. 0.63 bread units (BE).
