- Thyrositol® contains a unique combination of myo-inositol and selenium.
- Thyrositol® provides a targeted supply of these nutrients in cases of subclinical hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid).
- In the thyroid gland, myo-inositol is essential for the incorporation of iodine, which is essential for the formation of thyroid hormones (T3 and T4).
- As a component of cell membrane phospholipids, myo-inositol plays an important biochemical role in the transmission of signals in various hormonal processes, e.g. insulin, FSH* and TSH* regulation.
- It is a natural polyol (sugar alcohol) that is found in animal and humantissue as well as in various foods.
