How to use
- Grade 2: Drinkable - moderately thick 2 measuring spoons
- Grade 3: Drinkable - very thick 4 measuring spoons
- Grade 4: Spoonable - extremely viscous or mushy/pureed 6 measuring spoons
- Please only use the enclosed measuring spoon.
- Pour the recommended amount of levelled measuring spoons of powder into a clean, dry glass.
- Add 200 ml of the desired liquid to the glass.
- Stir vigorously with a whisk or fork until the powder has dissolved. Leave to stand for 2-3 minutes after preparation. The food or drink should be consumed immediately afterwards. Do not stir into drinks > 70°C. Allow hot drinks to cool down first.
- Important information: Only use under medical supervision. Not suitable for exclusive nutrition. For oral use only. Not suitable for children < 3 years. For use as a thickener for food and drinks. As such, only makes a minor contribution to the energy supply. The product contains fibre and sodium. This should be taken into account when planning a diet. Ensure adequate fluid intake. Store in a relatively odourless environment, dry and at room temperature. Reseal after opening. Use up opened cans within 2 months.
- Contraindications: Not suitable if enteral nutrition is contraindicated, not suitable for patients with inborn errors of metabolism who are unable to metabolise nutrients in Thick&Easy™ Clear and in case of intolerance to any ingredient contained in Thick&Easy™ Clear.
