The Nutri Store Vitamin C 300 + Zinc 5 long-term capsules are a food supplement with 300 mg vitamin C and 5 mg zinc per capsule with a depot effect, which releases the vitamin C and zinc slowly throughout the day and thus supplies your body with the optimum amount of vitamin C and zinc over a longer period of time.

Vitamin C is an essential vital substance that is very important for the entire organism. Among other things, vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and the immune system. It helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

An undersupply of vitamin C in the body often leads to a reduction in well-being and performance. Unfortunately, the body cannot produce vitamin C itself. It must be taken in with food. The daily requirement of vitamin C would normally be covered by a balanced diet with plenty of vegetables and fresh fruit. However, an unbalanced or incorrectly prepared diet, smoking, stress, physical exertion, adolescent growth, pregnancy and breastfeeding or reduced vitamin absorption capacity (e.g. in old age) can lead to an increased vitamin requirement.

In addition to vitamin C, zinc is particularly important for supporting the body's defences. It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress. Zinc is the second most abundant trace element in the human organism after iron and is a component of more than 200 enzyme systems that are essential for the body. Neither zinc nor vitamin C can be produced by the body itself, so regular supplementation with these important nutrients is recommended.

Each vitamin C+zinc long-term capsule contains 300 mg vitamin C and 5 mg zinc in a special capsule development with a depot effect. This releases the vitamin C and zinc slowly throughout the day and thus supplies your body with the optimum amount of vitamin C and zinc over a longer period of time.

Ingredients: Vitamin C (42 %), bulking agent sucrose, gelatine, zinc sulphate monohydrate (0.7 % zinc), bulking agent microcrystalline cellulose, coating agent shellac, bulking agents wheat-based glucose syrup, maize starch; anti-caking agents magnesium stearate, talc.
