Directions
- Consume 6 g of galactose powder twice daily (= daily dose: 12 g). One level teaspoon corresponds to approx. 3 g. It is recommended to use for at least 8 - 12 weeks. The powder can be mixed with food according to taste. Due to its relatively sweet flavour, galactose is also suitable for sweetening food. For optimum absorption, dissolve the powder in 1/2 litre of water or fruit juice.
- Note: internal 3 g dosing aid!
- Caution: Not suitable for people suffering from galactosaemia, a rare congenital metabolic disorder. Do not use during pregnancy.
- Ingredients: 100 % high-purity D (+) galactose powder (from milk) without further additives, finely ground.
- Average nutritional information: 12 g (= daily dose): calorific value: 204 kJ / 48 kcal, fat: 0 g, carbohydrates: 12 g, protein: 0 g, salt: 0 g, bread units: 1 BE. The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. There is currently no EU recommendation for the daily requirement of galactose according to NRV = nutrient reference value for daily intake in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011.
