For people who have problems digesting lactose, the enzyme lactase improves lactose digestion by breaking down lactose into its components glucose and galactose, which can be easily utilised by the body. Each small, easy-to-swallow mini tablet contains 5000 FCC units of lactase (Food Chemical Codex: 5000 FCC of lactase can break down up to approx. 25 g of lactose).

*FCC = food chemical units (according to the Food Chemical Codex) 1000 FCC lactase can break down up to 5 grams of lactose.

How to use

As required, chew and swallow 1 to 4 tablets with a little liquid before or during the consumption of foods containing lactose. The amount of lactase required varies from person to person and must be adjusted. It depends on the type and quantity of foods and drinks containing lactose as well as the body's own lactase production. As there are differences in lactose intolerance, those affected should seek advice regarding the function of the substance in their diet.

Ingredients: lactase, bulking agents maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose; anti-caking agents magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide.
