How can I use organic cinnamon oil?

In aromatherapy, the warm, sweet scent of organic cinnamon oil is primarily used in an aroma diffuser. However, it can also release its comforting effects when added to baths or burned in a log fire. The scent of cinnamon is an integral part of the Christmas season, as it brings us a sense of warming cosiness. When it’s cold and unpleasant outside, we often long for a cosy home – for example, with a gently crackling fire. To achieve this, prepare a mixture of 2 drops of TAOASIS organic cinnamon oil, 3 drops of mandarin oil and 3 drops of orange oil, add 1 teaspoon of this mixture to the open fire and let yourself be pampered by the unique aromatic experience. For special aromatic skincare, the essential oil can also be added to wonderfully soothing baths: To do this, add 8–10 drops of TAOASIS Organic Cinnamon Oil to a tablespoon of sea salt, then add the mixture to a full bath and simply let your mind wander for 15–20 minutes. For aromatherapy, the combination of organic cinnamon oil with oils such as bergamot, jasmine, lemongrass, sandalwood or ylang-ylang also creates a wonderful fragrant atmosphere.

How does organic cinnamon oil work?

Aromatherapy literature describes the effects of cinnamon oil, with its sweet yet spicy scent, primarily as stimulating and warming. It is therefore increasingly used to combat emotional coldness and persistent chills. However, many customers also buy organic cinnamon oil to regain their strength when feeling generally weak.

An overview of the uses of organic cinnamon oil:

  • Emotional coldness
  • Feeling chilly
  • General feeling of weakness

Usage

  • For specialised aromatic skin care, use only in diluted form, e.g. 8–10 drops to 1 tbsp sea salt for an aromatic full bath.
  • INCI note: Essential oils are composed of a multitude of individual components. Substances such as limonene and linalool are completely natural components of the essential oil; they are not added. However, they are among the 26 allergenic fragrances subject to declaration and must therefore be listed separately, as some people may be allergic to individual ingredients. In the INCI, a ‘parfum’ refers to a blend of various essential oils when we wish to keep the exact composition a trade secret. All our products are free from synthetic substances!
  • Notes: Do not use essential oils undiluted. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
