How can I use organic white thyme oil?
White thyme is a wonderful variety of thyme. In aromatherapy, organic white thyme oil is perfectly safe for use by pregnant women and children due to its mild nature.
Its spicy, fresh scent is somewhat reminiscent of lavender, as their constituents are very similar. It is used, for example, to naturally fragrance rooms and boost the immune system. The essential oil can also prove helpful for those feeling mentally drained: during busy, turbulent periods, its aroma can help you draw new strength to tackle tasks with renewed vigour – thanks to its gently uplifting energy. When applied externally to the skin, white organic thyme oil can also have a positive effect on both body and mind. For example, you can add 8–10 drops of TAOASIS organic white thyme oil to 50 ml of almond oil for a soothing aromatic massage.
When applying to the skin, however, you must always ensure that the oil is sufficiently diluted beforehand, whilst avoiding contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
How does organic white thyme oil work?
According to specialist aromatherapy literature, organically produced white thyme oil has a nerve-strengthening and restorative effect, whilst also being indispensable in skincare. Owing to these characteristics, it is used in particular during the colder months for soothing and pleasant skincare.
Many customers also buy organic white thyme oil to aid concentration. This is particularly useful during periods of high cognitive strain, during important exam periods and in cases of general difficulty concentrating.

However, they are among the 26 allergenic fragrances that must be declared and must therefore be listed separately, as some people may be allergic to individual ingredients. In the INCI, ‘Parfum’ refers to a blend of various essential oils when we wish to keep the exact composition a trade secret. All our products are free from synthetic substances!
- Notes: Do not use essential oils undiluted. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
