Taoasis Sage Oil Organic|demeter is a pure, natural essential oil from certified organic cultivation. It is extracted from the fresh leaves of sage (Salvia officinalis) and produced by gentle steam distillation.

We obtain TAOASIS sage oil in certified organic or Demeter quality using the water vapour distillation process. In this process, the hot steam extracts the essential components from the herb of the plant - selectively and particularly gently. The TAOASIS organic seal guarantees that the production process is fair and sustainable at all times.

How can I use organic sage oil?

Organic sage oil is mainly used during the cold season. For aromatherapy, the fresh, herbaceous scent of sage is very pleasant, for example when breathing deeply. A few drops of the essential oil in the fragrance lamp or on the fragrance stone are sufficient for this. Organic sage oil is also suitable for purifying the air in a room and building up your own inner strength. Sage oil is often used externally as an ingredient in soothing compresses. The menthol-like odour of sage is a real freshener when added to a body or massage oil. For example, 3-4 drops of TAOASIS organic sage oil can be mixed with 50 ml of TAOASIS almond oil for special aroma care of the skin. When applying to the skin, however, care should always be taken to dilute organic sage oil well without coming into contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. In general, the spicy fragrance goes well with oils of bergamot, lavender, rosemary and lemon.

How does organic sage oil work?

In aromatherapy literature, the effect of organic sage oil is primarily described as cleansing and invigorating. In addition to its use in cold winter months, many people rely on the supposed sweat-regulating effect of organic sage oil. When mixed well with cold water, the essential oil can help to regulate heavy sweating during washing. However, many customers buy organic sage oil as a remedy for high body temperatures.

• For special aroma care of the skin, use only diluted, e.g. 3-4 drops in 50 ml TAOASIS Almond Oil for a soothing aroma massage.

However, they are among the 26 declarable allergenic fragrances and must therefore be labelled separately because some people have allergic reactions to individual ingredients. In the INCI, perfume is a composition of various essential oils, if we want to keep the exact composition a fragrance secret. All our products are free from synthetic substances!
