Cumin, also known as mother cumin, is primarily known as a spice in the kitchen. In Ayurveda, the traditional Indian art of healing, it has been valued for more than a thousand years for its wide range of applications - both on a spiritual and physical level. The pleasantly warm scent of cumin alone, with its gentle aniseed note, gives us a hint of oriental flair.
