Fennel is obtained from the ripe seeds of the fennel plant Foeniculum vulgare. The scent is aromatic, fresh and spicy. It exudes a mixture of sweet and tart notes reminiscent of aniseed. It is both invigorating and relaxing, with a subtle freshness. The aromatic and fresh scent of fennel oil can be used in various products such as creams, lotions, soaps and perfumes to provide a pleasant fragrance.

We obtain TAOASIS sweet fennel oil in certified organic or Demeter quality from the fruits of the plant - selectively and particularly gently through steam distillation. Certification with the TAOASIS organic seal also guarantees fair and sustainable production.

How can I use organic fennel oil?

For aromatherapy, sweet organic fennel oil can be used both for room fragrancing and externally on the skin. As a natural room fragrance, the pleasantly sweet-smelling fennel oil spreads an atmosphere of cosiness that embraces us warmly. The essential oil can be a source of calm, especially in times characterised by excessive nervousness and inner turmoil. Organic fennel oil also helps us to gain courage and tackle upcoming tasks with renewed conviction when we lack self-confidence. For aromatherapeutic purposes, only organic sweet fennel oil should be used, as it has a milder fragrance than bitter fennel. Organic sweet fennel oil blends well with aniseed, lemon balm, mint and rose, among others.

Organic fennel oil is recommended for a pleasant, spicy-warm bath with the following composition: mix 8-10 drops of TAOASIS sweet fennel oil with a tablespoon of sea salt, pour into a full bath and treat yourself to 15-20 minutes of soothing relaxation.
